Alarm Monitoring Options

To ensure our Alarm Response Centre responds to every alarm signal immediately there are various options for communication between your home alarm system and the response centre.

Dialler Monitoring:

The security system communicates via the existing telephone line. If an alarm is activated, the system automatically alerts the Security Alarm Monitoring Centre control room. Any line fault condition will not be detected until the routine scheduled test signal is not received. Call costs are applicable every time the alarm communicates to the central monitoring station.

Permaconn GPRS Monitoring System:

It's widely known that thieves cut telephone lines in order to disable alarm systems. So what's the solution? The latest technology combines the use of GPRS Internet, GSM and standard PSTN phone lines as the communication path. This means if a fault condition is reported on one communication path, the system will automatically switch to one of the back-up paths and report the fault condition and any alarm conditions to the control room.
